The Kinship of Secrets

South Korea, 1948. Najin and Calvin with their young daughter Miran, travel to the US. Wary of the challenges ahead, they make the difficult decision to leave their other daughter, Inja, behind. Miran grows up in American suburbia, as Inja grapples in her war-torn land with ties to a family she doesn't remember. The Kinship of Secrets explores modern Korean history, the cruelty of war and what it means to be sister. Told through the alternating perspectives of the sisters and inspired by a true story.
